Resources of course, lots and lots of resources.  So many resources that what you see here only represents a fraction of a fraction of the resources available in an environment (trying to represent all the resources in an environment also makes an eyesore of a picture).  This is why studying an environment is so difficult, there are too many resources to keep track of.
